Rewards can help employers with recruiting apprentices and training staff through apprenticeships, accredited qualifications and refresher courses.
Apprenticeships

Apprenticeships are available for those aged 16+ to gain a qualification to demonstrate competency within a chosen industry.

Apprenticeship schemes are becoming an increasingly popular way for people to learn a trade and gain valuable on-the-job experience whilst earning a wage.

Apprentices may not have any actual workplace experience, but they can offer a fresh perspective and new ideas, which are just as valuable to a growing business. Employees are developed in the skills relevant to your business, allowing you to address skills gaps effectively.

The initial outlay of hiring an apprentice is often smaller than many companies may think, thanks to government funding and the fact that they are paid a reduced wage while training and learning.

If your company has less than 50 employees there is no cost to the employer towards the training of an apprentice who is 16 – 18 years old.

If your employee formally commences their training before their 19th birthday, your organisation will be entitled to a £1000.00 incentive payment from the ESFA.

Apprenticeship Recruitment

If your business is looking to recruit an apprentice, this is something that Rewards Hair Academy are able to assist with. NVQ /Diploma Qualifications

If you have a staff member aged 19+ that may wish to undertake a qualification in your organisation, and this is their first full level 2 or level 3 qualification, they may be eligible to funding to support this. Please enquire for details.

Advanced Learning Loans

For those wishing to undertake a level 3 or above qualification, there may be the option to apply for an Advanced Learning Loan to support this. Please see link below for eligibility requirements, and enquire further for details.
